Rosehip Plus Skincare Review*

Back in November (eek, I've been a terrible blogger, I know!), I was fortunate enough to get sent 3 products to try out from an organic Australian skincare brand. That's right, I'm literally trying out skincare from across the globe. I'd have to say that's one of the most incredible perks when it comes to blogging!
In today's post, I'm going to be letting you know my thoughts to hopefully help you decide whether you want to give them a go yourself or not.

Over the years, I've definitely tried my fair share of moisturising creams. Some of them have been far too sticky, and left me resembling the inside of a frying pan, but others have been better, such as this one. Blended with the brand's pure rosehip oil, it has a light, silky texture when you apply it to both your hands, and your face, which always has me sold straight away, and there isn't an overbearing, or unpleasant scent, so it's ideal for people that have sensitive skin (or sensitive nostrils!). The purpose of a day cream is to use it after cleansing, as I find that this enables me to get my makeup on much more smoothly. Having said that though, even if I'm not wearing makeup, this cream definitely makes my skin look healthy, and glowy. I also appreciate the nice, detailed packaging for when it's sitting on my dressing table.
Already having received the Runner Up title for Best Skin Tone Corrector in the Best of Beauty Awards 2016, this massaging rollerball is designed to target specific areas that need organic rosehip oil applied to them without the extra hassle, and mess. Rosehip oil has a variety of different benefits, such as: minimising the appearance of stretch marks/scars, maintain skin hydration, and softness, promote skin elasticity, and texture, and improve the appearance of dry, and sensitive skin. Admittedly, I haven't needed to use this product just yet, but I've tested it out on my hand, and I can say that this also has a nice texture to it, and felt incredibly smooth. If I was going to apply it anywhere, it would probably be under my eyes, or on, and around my cheeks.

First of all, when it comes to the packaging of this night cream, I'm quite obsessed. I really like how the product is in more of a tall, thin tube compared to the day cream, so it's easy to distinguish between the two, and I also like the fact it has a pump, rather than a squeezy cap. According to the website's description, the Nourishing Night Cream has been formulated with 100% pure RosehipPLUS Australian Certified Organic cold pressed Rosehip Oil, and also contains a blend of cocoa seed butter, jojoba seed oil and shea butter, which helps to lock in moisture and deeply nourish the skin’s surface. After reading that, and testing it out for myself over the last few months, I'm not surprised that it was awarded Highly Commended Night Cream in the Nature and Health Best in Beauty Awards 2015 and 2016.

If you're looking for cruelty free, vegan appropriate products, then this is definitely the brand to turn to - and I like it even more, because they're literally from across the globe!

Do any of these products sound up your street? Let me know in the comments below!

Love, and light always,

*The products featured in this post were very kindly sent to me for review purposes, but all views are 100% my own, as always.*
