Allow Yourself Small Creature Comforts.
This is the first step to feeling happy every day. It might seem like an insignificant thing that’ll barely make a difference to your mental state, but even the clothes you wear have an impact on your overall happiness. If you want to slip into an “unfashionable” pair of joggers to go to the shop or sit on the sofa then do so. You should feel comfortable in and out of home. You might even want to check out for stylish yet comfortable slippers. Who says you can’t have both?
The point is that you need to treat yourself to little creature comforts every day. You can eat a healthy lunch and then reward yourself with a chocolate bar, for instance. You can go for a jog and then slump on the sofa and enjoy your favourite Netflix series. Cherish creature comforts in life. Allow yourself to enjoy the little things; it’ll make a big difference to your mental health.

Spend Time With Your Friends.

Another important secret to cherishing every day is to spend time with your friends, as has been mentioned on this site many times.
Okay, it’s not always possible to see your friends; they might be busy on certain days, and you might be busy on other days, but the point is that you should aim to see friends or family as often as possible.
Simply talking to your loved ones can have a massively positive impact on your mental state. Whether you’ve venting your feelings or simply having a laugh with your favourite people in the world, there’s no better medicine than enjoying the company of your friends and family.
Don’t make excuses for yourself. Go for a drink on the occasional weeknight, or invite friends over to your house. Go on a road trip at the weekend. Everybody has more free time than they accept. Value your loved ones.
