All About Female Hygiene ft. Organ(y)c*

Something that all females go through during their life, but hardly ever talk about on social media is periods. That time of the month can feel like the devil is rearing it's horns, and honestly, it can be a terrible time, especially as your hormones are going crazy.
Today's post is a collaboration with Organ(y)c, an intimate care brand, selling sanitary towels, tampons, panty liners, and maternity and baby products, as well as beauty.
The female sanitary products are made from 100% organic cotton (hence the name of the brand), and they don't contain any synthetics, chlorine, or wood pulp/cellulose. Cotton is known to be nature's most absorbent material and it's also sustainable and breathable, so it really is a female's best bet.

As I don't use tampons myself, I decided to try out the Organ(y)c Pads for Moderate Flow*. I have already tried these pads out since being sent them, and I can actually tell a difference between them and the pads that I usually use from Always or Bodyform. They come in a pack of 10, which I think is a fairly decent amount, considering they are in fact for moderate flow. They are a good size and I did feel protected when I wore one to go out. I wasn't too sure whether I would feel that way at first, but it does the job, it feels secure and you don't leak or spill into your underwear either, which is always reassuring to know! They have wings, which wrap around your underwear and I'm personally much more likely to buy pads if they have them too. Although the first time I used them, I didn't find that they were particularly sticky, I do think that was just because it was my first time, and they stayed put anyway, which is the main thing!
The next product that I was very kindly sent is the Organ(y)c Intimate Wash*. As the name suggests, this is used to clean your intimate areas, which is especially important during that time of the month. You don't want any bacteria to cause you an infection, so it's vital that you clean yourself and ensure that you're feeling fresh and healthy. This wash in particular contains chamomile, essential oils and extracts that gently cleanses, calms and cools. It suits sensitive skin (which mine is anyway), so you can use it on a daily basis without having to worry about any itchiness or irritation. It comes with a pump, like a hand wash would, making it easy and hygienic to extract whenever you need. I think that it smells very natural and refreshing, but it's not over-powering in anyway.
To buy online, the pads are £3.69 in the UK and the 250ml wash is £7.39. Some of you may think that is a little expensive, but at just over £10 for both natural, 100% organic products, I'd say that they're worth the price!
Have you ever tried anything from Organ(y)c? What do you think of the range?
Lots of love always,
Disclaimer: This post was written in collaboration with Organ(y)c. I was lucky enough to get sent these products to review for free. However, all thoughts and opinions are my own as always.
