What I'm Looking Forward To In 2017

If any of you read my blog post, which was 'All About 2016', then you will know that it was a pretty amazing year for me to say the least. So many cool things happened and I feel as though I really grew and developed as a person as well, which is always a bonus.
February has only just begun this week, but I've already started making plans that don't start happening until August! I knew that this year was going to be bigger and better, because it's already heading down the right route.
I thought that today I'd talk you guys through some of my plans and the things that I'm most looking forward to that should be happening throughout this year. Not all of them are set in stone, but I'm still hopeful that they'll happen at some point! Make sure to let me know in the comments what you're looking forward to. It's always nice to plan and think about!
1. Meeting some of my closest Internet friends. This is something that I'm pretty sure will happen at some point or another. Most of the schools break up for February half term in a week or two, so that's always a good opportunity to meet up with friends, especially if it's for the first time! Even if we don't get to meet this month, I'm 99% sure that I'll get to meet one if not more of them some day this year. That's all that I ever dream of, in all honesty.
2. Turning 16 in March. Yep, you read it right. I'm going to be 16 in March. 16! That's actually so insane. I can't even begin to explain how excited I am! I know that not all that much changes really, but it's still a big deal to me and everybody else that isn't the big 'one six' just yet. When I was as young as 9 or 10, I'd always watch 'My Super Sweet 16' and stare in awe at all of the girls. I wasn't even 13 yet, so you can imagine how much I must have looked up to them at the time. I remember when it seemed so far away and now it's literally just under 1 month until it becomes my reality!
3. Having a longer Summer once I've finished my GCSE exams. Something that I'm not really looking forward to in the slightest is sitting all of my GCSE exams in the Summer term. It's something that's got to be done and everyone my age across the country is in the same boat as me, but still, the very thought fills my mind with dread. Once I've got them all out of the way, I'll have a longer Summer to look forward to. I usually would break up at the end of July, but I'll now be breaking up nearer the end of June instead! See, the saying that every cloud has a silver lining really is true in this scenario..
4. Seeing Les Mis at the theatre in April with my Aunt. Since I saw 'Wicked' up in London last April, I've been wanting to see 'Les Misérables' so badly. I've always loved musicals, but up until last year, I never got to see any up in London. I feel like it's going to be a tradition of mine and my Aunt's now, because this will be the 2nd year running and I can tell that my love for musicals will just grow more and more each time.
5. Spending 4 days in Cornwall with my Aunt & Uncle. For as long as I can remember, I've been wanting to go to Cornwall. Due to financial difficulties, I've never actually had the chance, but this August is going to be when my dream comes true! I'm going to be spending 4 days in St Ives and I'll be doing blog posts about the trip when I get back, as well as taking a lot of photos whilst I'm there. Even though I'm only going for 4 days, there's a lot that I plan to see and do. We'll be going on coastal walks, visiting paradise parks and pretty gardens, exploring the beaches and harbour, admiring the quaint shops, observing the Tate gallery and much more! I really can't wait for the fun to begin.
6. Starting up my photography business in the Summer. I actually don't think I can contain my excitement for this one. I don't want to talk about it too much until I actually have firm plans set in stone, but I've made rough notes and I'm slowly but surely beginning to work it all out. I'll probably be keeping it on the low until the end of June when I'm done with Secondary School (until I join Sixth Form anyway), but all you guys can do until then is keep everything crossed for me and be hopeful that it'll all work out in my favour!
Those are just 6 of the main things that I'm looking forward to in 2017. I've also got all of the leavers celebrations during the Summer, the excitement of Prom, day trips and a load more events to get excited about, which haven't even been thought up yet!
I can't wait to see what happens with both my personal life and with my blog this year. It's all going to be so exciting and I can't wait to take you all along on this crazy journey with me.
Do you have anything that you're looking forward to? What are you hoping to do?
Lots of love always,
