I'm All About That Pink

What girl in the world doesn't love a little bit of pink in her life every now and then? I've never really been the hugest fan of the colour myself, as I'm more of a purple girl at heart, but I have been getting more into pink lately, particularly when it comes to makeup. Here I have four of my favourite lipstick shades (well, three with a lip scrub thrown in.. gotta keep them lips moisturised!), and one of my favourite blushes.

MAC Lipstick in 'Bombshell' / £15.50 - The first pink product that I'm going to be talking about is this little beauty in a lipstick bullet! I'm pretty sure that I've spoken about it a couple of times on my blog before, but seriously, who could ever get tired of talking about makeup? It's a frost formula, which means that it's quite shimmery when it's on the lips, but it isn't as extreme to the point where there are chunks of glitter on your lips. I don't think anyone would find that attractive, do you? It's such a beautiful, rosy pink shade, and even if you have no other makeup on your face, it just lightens up your whole appearance, and draws attention away from the other bare areas. I think it would look amazing on any skin tone, as it's just one of them versatile, easily worn colours! Most of the time when I go out, or in blog photos, I will be wearing this lipstick, because it's literally one of my favourites, hence why I feature it in a collection of different posts. Although MAC aren't the most affordable of brands, I would definitely say that this lipstick is worth it, and I've only properly worn this one, but to say I wear it everyday proves just how great it really is, and if that doesn't convince you to splurge on it, I don't know what will!

Revlon ColourBurst Lacquer Balm in 'Coquette' / £7.99 - Alright, so maybe this picture doesn't exactly do the product justice, seeing as the top is completely, and utterly destroyed (maybe that will teach me not to push the lid on quite so tightly in future), this is still such a gorgeous lip colour. The Revlon ColourBurst Balm's were all the rage a while back, and they had everyone talking about them left, right and centre. The problem with me is that I always hear beauty bloggers, and YouTubers banging on about certain releases from certain ranges, and I usually always give into the hype, but after trying out one, or two things from the range, I never seem to be as amazed as I thought I should have been, then once the hype dies down, and the products are just considered normal, then I will end up falling back in love. It's quite strange really, isn't it? But, back to the point, this is a really lovely, bubble-gum kinda glossy lip crayon, and although it's glossy, it feels quite moisturising on the lips at the same time! This lip colour can just make any outfit look presentable, and well put together, and I definitely want to be repurchasing it sometime, as this one doesn't look the most appealing, does it?!

Topshop Lipstick in 'All About Me' / £8.00 - I'm sure that some of you aren't as aware of Topshop's beauty range, as you are with other drugstore beauty brands. I have only ever tried their lipsticks, but for £8, considering that it's Topshop we're talking about, that really isn't too bad. They have a really creamy, moisturising consistency that sits really nicely on the lips, and they come in a variety of beautiful colours, ranging from pastel spring shades, to autumnal, berry ones. The packaging is really sleek and sophisticated (what more can you expect from Topshop?). It also lasts for quite a while on the lips, which is another positive point, so you can't really go wrong with picking one up!

Lush Bubblegum Lip Scrub / £5.50 - Moving on from lipsticks, I'm now going to be sharing with you the lip scrub that I use whenever my lips are in need of a little exfoliating. Let's start off with the best bit. I kid you not, this lip scrub literally smells just lime a pot of bubblegum. It's so good that I genuinely think you could eat it, and I'm not ashamed to say that I've licked it off my lips before! This is honestly such an amazing product - it's one of my holy grails, for sure! It smells really sugary, and kinda sickly, but I think that adds to the whole experience of this product, and makes it 10 times more incredible to use. It makes my lips the softest that they ever have been, and it leaves them kissable, perfect for the Christmas season! You also get a lot of product, and a little goes a long way, so I really would highly recommend it, because it's pretty amazing, if I do say so myself.

Max Factor Crème Puff Blush in Seductive Pink / £8.99 - This is literally my favourite blush in the whole entire world right now. I've been loving it for quite a while, ever since I picked it up in fact, but it's honestly so lovely! When you blend the product with a brush, and you just lightly dust it onto your cheeks, it creates the most gorgeous shimmery pink glow, but it still looks natural at the same time. It isn't the most affordable out of the high street, but then again, what makeup is particularly affordable nowadays? I would definitely say it's worth every penny, as it's one of my everyday staples for my makeup routine, and I don't tend to go even so much as a day without a little dusting of this beauty! The picture really doesn't do it justice, so go and pick it up on a whim like I did, or give it a little swatch in the store. You will be surprised at how much you end up loving it, and you will thank me after!

So, I think that's enough talk about pink for one day, right? I'm all pinked out now! Please let me know if you have tried, or are going to try any of these products out.

Lots of love,

Jade x
