Travel | My Toiletry Essentials

Hello everyone! I'm not sure if any of you are aware, but I'm actually going on holiday to Majorca for 2 weeks on the 13th of August! Over the next few days, I'm going to be packing my suitcase and my carry-on bag, so I thought that it would be a nice idea for me to share what I'm taking with you.
I won't be blogging whilst I'm away, but I will be filming and photographing the whole thing and I will have scheduled posts that will go up whilst I'm away, so you won't be missing out, don't worry!

Skincare & Bodycare

For my cleanser, I'm going to be taking the Clean & Clear 'Deep Action Cream Wash' (the oil free version). It's really important for me to take an oil free face wash on holiday, because it's going to be incredibly hot and I don't want to look like I have an oily saucepan face, where you could cook a fry-up on it! This face wash is perfect for deep cleaning pores and controlling all the shine!

The next two products are both from Lush and so I'm going to be talking about them together. The toner that I'm going to use is the 'Eau Roma Water'. It helps to naturally hydrate sensitive skin, without involving any harsh chemicals and it really refreshes lethargic, sweaty skin. I think that it will be perfect during my holiday as I will be oilier, so it will cool me down and revitalise my appearance.

Once a week, I plan on using the 'Mask Of Magnaminty' face mask. This is probably my holy grail skin care product, as it really does work wonders on my skin. It improves the quality of your skin, reduces the appearance of blemishes, softens the skin and just generally improves the overall look of your face! I honestly couldn't recommend it enough - it's a god send! You need to go and buy it!

My moisturiser of choice is the 'Garnier Moisture Matte+ For Combination To Oily Skin.' I haven't used it yet, as I only just purchased it yesterday, but it's perfect for my skin type and it wasn't at all expensive, so I thought that I would try it out, as I need to control my oil and mattify my face as much as possible anyway.
'Creamy Madly Dreamy' is the body lotion that I'm going to be taking. I'll have to shave my legs to make sure that I stay in tip-top condition or my holiday, but then my legs may get dry and so I think it's important to have a light body moisturiser to ensure that I'm as soft as I can be! It smells really lovely and it makes my legs and my arms the smoothest that they have ever been!
As far as deodorant goes, I'm going to be taking the Soft & Gentle '24hr Protection' in the scent 'Orange Blossom & Grapefruit'. It has to be a compressed can, because it has to fit in my toiletries bag! This one doesn't leave any white marks and it smells quite nice, so as far as I'm concerned, it does the job just fine!
For hair wash, I'm going to be using an anti-dandruff 2-in-1, as I'm not too fussed about shampoo and conditioner. It keeps my hair clean and it smells quite refreshing, so it works fine for me. Seeing as it's a mini 2-in-1, it takes up less space too! I think that it would be a good option for travelling anyway.
I'm also going to be taking a girlie scented shower gel, by Imperial Leather, which smells like sweet marshmallows! It's really softening and it leaves a lovely fragrance on the skin. What more could you want? It's quite heavy, but it does have to last me 2 weeks and I do like to smell nice at all times!
Speaking of smelling nice, I'm also going to be taking a body mist for during the day time when I go out. The one I have chosen to take with me on my travels is the Soap & Glory 'Mist You Madly' spray. It has a really refreshing, summery scent and I think that it's the perfect daytime spray.

To protect my skin, I'm going to be taking after sun to help soothe and hydrate during the evenings, after I have been sunbathing and out in the heat all day. I will, of course, be taking sun cream, but my mum has already packed that and so I'm unable to photograph that, but I'm sure you all know what it looks like anyway! I burn pretty easily and my skin tends to peel too, so after sun really helps to calm down any irritated burns and hydrate my skin too.
Finally, I shall be taking my Lush 'BubbleGum Lip Scrub'. It helps to exfoliate the lips and remove any dead skin that may be flaking away from the heat. I will then apply a lip balm over the top to hydrate my lips even further. It's so important to keep moisturised when you are in the heat for long periods of time.
I will also be taking a razor, for obvious reasons, a toothbrush/toothpaste and girly essentials, but those don't need to be pictured, so I won't be showing them as that is unnecessary anyway!

As well as taking my shampoo and conditioner, I will also be taking the Lee Stafford Shine Spray and the Tresemme Heat Defence Spray. The shine spray helps to add extra shine to your hair, hence the name and I feel that it just adds a little something extra to the appearance of your hair! It smells divine too! The heat defence spray is an obvious one, as you always need to protect your hair when using heat products, (that's a given) and I find that this one works just fine for me. It can work whether you're using a hairdryer, straighteners, curlers, or rollers and I would recommend it!

I will have more posts on this series over the next few days, but remember I'm going away on the 13th! I will still be posting, as I said, so I hope you enjoy that, as there will be a variety of posts!

Hopefully some of you may find this helpful! If you are going on holiday anytime soon, then I hope that you have an amazing time and you get a really nice tan, wherever you are off to!

Lots of love,
