Beauty|| Budget Bits I've Bought

Mini Reviews & A Little Beauty Haul

I've recently been shopping during the Easter holidays and so I thought now that I've had the chance to try the products out, I will do some mini reviews and a blog post dedicated to them!

L'Oreal Collection Privee Lipstick in Eva's Nude - This lipstick is quickly becoming one of my favourites in my collection! It's absolutely beautiful. The shade is very accurate to how it's displayed in the tube  as it appears to be a nudey pink when applied on the lips. It's an incredibly moisturising formula and it goes on really smoothly and easily. It doesn't make your lips dry, or flaky either which is a huge benefit in my opinion. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Lush 'Mask of Magnaminty' Face and Body Mask - I've used this product once already and I've fallen head over heels in love with it. I put it over my face, so that I could try it out and see what it was like. I put a generous amount in my hands and then I evenly distributed it all over my face, being careful to avoid my eye area. After I'd applied it everywhere I needed to, I went in the bath and about 5-7 minutes later, I started rubbing at my skin with the flannel to remove the product. It has a really strong peppermint smell, which was a bit overpowering for me, but I did actually like it as I found it refreshing and it revitalised my skin. It's quite hard to remove, but then you can just splash your face with some water and pat it dry. I really do like this mask for my face. It made my skin smell divine, it got rid of the oily appearance and the shine, it made it all smooth and clear. Even my mum said that after a couple of used, she thinks it would work wonders! It's a little pricey for what it is, but it's made of all natural ingredients, just like the other Lush products. You can either use it when you're breaking out and your skin feels particularly bad, or as part as your everyday skincare routine. I would repurchase this product & recommend it.

Lush 'Ultrabland' Facial Cleanser - I tried this cleanser out last night. When you first apply it to your skin, it's extremely greasy and it's quite hard to apply too, because your hands just feel like slimy gloop. I'd describe the consistency as being oily, a little on the waxy side and just generally slippery. I put it on over the top of my makeup and then I went in the shower. I stood under the running water and kept rubbing at my face, but I did find it incredibly difficult to get off and I just didn't feel like it cleaned my skin properly. However, I did like the scent and the way it made my skin appear afterwards, but it did leave a lot of residue which made me feel slightly greasier. I'm going to try it out a couple more times and see how I feel. It's alright, just not the best in my opinion YET.

Lush 'Bubblegum' Lip Scrub - This lip scrub is genuinely the nicest lip product I have ever tried. The smell is insane, it's like pure bubblegum and it's so sweet. I apply a little bit to my index finger and just scrub it all over my lips. Once applied, it leaves your lips feeling so soft and moisturised. The whole point is that it removes all the dead skin and flaky patches and I believe it really does help to do that and improve the condition of your lips. I'm very impressed & I do recommend it.

Max Factor Creme Puff Blush in 'Lovely Pink' - This blush is absolutely gorgeous! It's quite a light, natural pink that just gives a delicate flush to the cheeks and just adds a little bit of colour to your face. It makes you look more healthy and more alive. I think it's a really pretty shade and I can't see any faults with this product either, so I would recommend it to anyone.

Lush 'Eau Roma Water' Toner - Personally, I've never really understood the whole concept of a toner. I never fully grasped the whole point of what they did and what benefits they had on your skin. Since trying out this toner a couple of times since I purchased it, I can say that I really like it. I spritz a couple of pumps on a cotton wool pad and then after my shower, or bath, I just wipe it over my face using light strokes and I feel it really awakens my skin. It can make it a little bit red after applying, but it soon disappears and that's completely natural as your skin is getting refreshed by it! It helps to get rid of any dirt , or left over traces of makeup.

I hope you enjoy this little beauty post for a change! Let me know what you think and I'll see you all very soon!
